Viva Palestina USA

Viva Palestina is a relatively new charitable group seeking to deliver aid to Palestinians in Gaza. It is the brainchild of British Member of Parliament George Galloway, who leads caravans from the United Kingdom and the U.S. and is Viva Palestina's principal fundraiser.

While Viva Palestina emphasizes its desire to break the siege on Gaza due to violence by the Hamas government there and provide humanitarian aid, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has found ample evidence that the group's ultimate objective is political – with the elevation of Hamas at its core. Galloway made that abundantly clear in March 2009, when he defiantly handed a bag of cash to a Hamas minister.
