Decrees ordering the destruction of synagogues were enacted in Egypt and Syria (1014, 1293-4, 1301-2), Iraq (854-859, 1344) and Yemen (1676). Despite the Koran's prohibition, Jews were forced to convert to Islam or face death in Yemen (1165 and 1678), Morocco (1275, 1465 and 1790-92) and Baghdad (1333 and 1344).(8)

Seriously? Everybody who slanders these people keep using the same old muslim-bashing sentiments instead of using ideas. If America is so great and Islam is so barbaric, then defend the Capitalist system and bring to light the flaws in the Islamic system.

A speaker identified by conference organizers as Imam Jaleel Abdul Razek said that if they offer us the sun, or the moon, or a nice raise, or a passport, or a house in the suburbs or even a place to pray at the job, on the condition that we stop calling for Islam as a complete way of life - we should never do that, ever do that - unless and until Islam becomes victorious or we die in the attempt." Later, the following dialogue ensued between the imam and a member of the audience over whether Shariah or the Constitution should be the supreme law of the land in the United States (click here to see the clip):

Audience member: "Would you get rid of the Constitution for Shariah, yes or no?"

Imam: "Over the Muslim world? Yes, it would be gone."

Audience Member: And so if the United States was a Muslim world, the Constitution would be gone?"

Imam: "If the United States was in the Muslim world, the Muslims who are here would be calling and happy to see the Shariah applied, yes we would."

Audience Member: "And the Constitution gone. That's all."

Imam: "Yes, as Muslims they would be long gone."

The fact is that this group is anti-american and wants nothing to do with the American system. The mere fact that they wasnt to replace it says that. The capitalist system is the system used in this country. If that system is not to your liking there is not one person holding you and forcing you to stay. Go to a place more to your liking.

As for the groups ties to terrorism, if it is such a civil group why is Hisb-ut-Tahrir banned in Germany, Russia and several Arab countries as well? You speak well but your substance is Babbling BS.

 

Communism Was Outlawed

About the middle of the last century, we outlawed Communism because, among other things, the ideology proposed the eliminition of the USA -- by force if necessary. I seen no difference between that desire and the desires expressed by this cancerous Islamic sect. Ban it, excise it, or do what the hell ever it takes to rid ourselves of these nut cases!!!
