1. Avi Billet wrote: "These demonstrators should be ashamed of themselves." There is no shame on the Left and these demonstrators are as extreme Left (note Code Pink in their midst) as they come.
2. Many American Jews align themselves firmly with the far Left (and by the way, voted for Barack Obama). I can't help but wonder if some might be feeling some "buyers' remorse" when they see with whom they are in fact aligned. I fear their number may be too small to matter. Not only is shame absent on the Left, regret for advocating disasterous policies is missing too.
If America sleeps through this crisis, the price we pay may be very, very high.
