Why do we have the Muslim Brotherhood at the White House?

Why do we have the Muslim Brotherhood at the White House? It seems to me that anyone with a minimum amount of knowledge about Egypt, her politics, religion and the citizenry would expect this outcome. It breaks my heart to read of the resurfacing of barbarity under the name of religion is back, I fear maybe for the rest of time. In the past it was easier to convince a million people to do your bidding instead of killing a million, and now it is easier to kill a million people than to convince them. We can't reason with evil and never could.
