hamas was elected to a majority of parliament and the proceeded to murder it's opposition and the police which they took control of. did the people elect hamas to take over the police? and that was when? 2006 you say, how many years ago was that? 6 years with no new elections and no new elections in sight...wow that's true democracy all right.

as far as the taliban, it is not that the us could not beat them it is our soldiers are not allowed to beat them for fear of causing to many civilian causalities and "offending" the "muslim world" . IF this were a real war we would have flattened both afghanistan and pakistan in a matter of days and would have saved countless us and nato soldiers lives. our children's blood is being shed to protect innocent men, women and children of the "muslim world". so ahmed you can kiss my lily white ass
