Not so much of a choice actually as the consequences for women leaving Islam can be horrific.

And to those citing orthodox Jews. You can't defend something by criticizing something else. Also the fact you have to use the qualifier 'orthodox' whereas there is no such qualifier in front of the word mosque tells you quite a lot.
