Fox News is "entertainment" not news

In response to the wondering comments above, most people in the USA with half a brain understand that Fox News is an entertainment show catering to the Right, not an actual news service. The reason the government allows it is because we have free speech here in the USA. We may not always agree with what is being said, but the right to say it exists - which is ironic because the people who agree with what is shown on Fox News would like to inhibit as much freedom as possible.

What you should really be asking is: why is ignorance so prominent in the USA? Because that's the root of the problem here. This isn't your typical "fell off the turnip truck" kind of ignorance I'm talking about either, but the kind that people are proud to parade around and encourage in others.
