Abdul couldn't've said it any better! I don't know if he is a Muslim scholar or an "apostate" (in the best sense) but he was right on about Islam--there is no possibility of reform. To reform Islam is to change it into something it simply cannot be. It will never be a "religion" of peace because it does not desire peace. It desires submission and human suffering. It has no relationship to any benevolent god because it was borne out of delusion and violence. It is a corrupt system that attempts to beat into submission all in its path. We have to block that path with the truth about its inherent evil. All those who believe in freedom and believe that true democracy is a good thing need to stand up against this fascist ideology and fight against it, as once we fought against Nazi Germany.
