Brilliant article, though I wonder why no reference was made to the British exploitation of the Arabs to not just expel the Ottoman empire, but to primarily lay down the vast oil pipeline which, to this day, connects politically and geographically a nation of Bedouins. Ironically, a terminus of the Basra pipeline is Haifa, completed several years after the Balfour declaration was all-but-forgotten.
