Audio Recording

Imam Abdul Malik Ali spoke at the Muslim Community Association Banquet Hall in Santa Clara, California on March 3, 2007 on the topic of excavations in at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. This event was sponsored by numerous organizations, including the San Francisco-Bay Area chapter of CAIR.

Malik Ali: When we come with this, we have to come with our definitions and not theirs. Stop using their words. Stop using their definitions. Once you use their definitions you'll already always be trapped, you'll always be trapped because you're using their definitions. So sometimes we have to take it a little bit further, and so they'll say ‘Wait a minute, you say they're not terrorists?' They're not terrorists, they're freedom fighters. Because it is not their definition.
