This "article" says nothing about who the perpetrators of the listed crimes MAY have been. I'm not sure the category "hate crime" is even justified, since the designation is so subjective. Is the murder of a designated minority any more evil than the murder of anyone else?

Increasingly we are seeing an out-cry for suppression of free speech in the US. That suppression is nearly complete in most of the western world and just a fact in the middle east. It must not be allowed to happen here, and the obsession with so called hate crimes is often put forward as an excuse to shut out speech that violates the PC "norm".
