It is impossible for such a ideology to somehow, magically, evolve into a "humane culture." The ideology's basic premise is death. A culture of Enlightenment is premised on life. And why must we be concerned with the survival of such an ideology? The ideology must be defeated and extinguished trunk, root, and branch. You are asking these savages to "see reason." Reason is their enemy, their nemesis. They're not going to see reason. They will chop your head off first. They are as open to reason as are the flesh-eating zombies of The Walking Dead.
