To those paying attention since 9/11 the only significant group either ignorant of Mr. Mohamed Elibiary's history, activities and affiliations are those in the insulated bubble of Washington politics. At least that's the preferred view. It is inconceivable that this man is within the mainstream security apparatus, the DHS, charged with keeping America safe. Is this an example of "keeping your friends close and the enemy closer" or an unholy alliance with a potential future enemy? Either way his views and his present position in the Washington political establishment are both alarming and relevant if anyone's paying attention.
