What does "radicalized" mean?

What is "radicalization"? It is nothing more than learning what is in the Koran and taking it seriously. This is not "salafism". It is Islam in its standard, pure, original form; and it is taught and preached in every mosque wherever the Koran is held up to be Allah's literal word. Moslem youth are "radicalized" when they read the Koran and find out what their god really expects them to do.
