THIS IS BULLSH#T

The serving men and women, should have full normal entitlements to pay for medical bills. To not do so shows to them and the other serving members just exactly how much one is valued for service to the country.

WE ARE ALL VALUED...... WE ARE WORTH MORE THAN THAT!

I note that Shawn Manning was originally classified as having combat injuries later to have this overrulled as "workplace violence"...OK yes, lets go with that....but how about we pay full medical entitlements and provide them with the recognition of what they have given in service to the country. its a no brainer really!

This sheds light on other issues such as medical entitlements for enlisted personell, sorry I cannot see the difference between an injury done whilst training at Fort Hood, say a broken leg and the same injury for a person in combat. (its still a broken leg) full medical entitlement should be paid either way.

The recognition, in particular the Purple Heart, really should only be provided and issued to personell injured during ACTUAL operational combat, I believe that to give the solidiers at Fort Hood a Purple Heart, undermines the recognition of such a medal given to those who earnt it in actual combat.

BUT like I said...full medical entitlements to all enlisted if injured at work!!!!!!!
