Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS)

[NDIL] Joseph D. Jones, also known as "Yusuf Abdulhaqq"and Edward Schimenti, also known as "Abdul Wali," both of Zion, Illinois, were charged in a federal complaint of conspiring and attempting to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). Both men were convicted of conspiring to provide material support to ISIS. Jones was sentenced to 12 years in prison for conspiring to provide material support to ISIS.
