Manning, et al. v. John McHugh
Washington, DC

Nearly 150 victims of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting and their relatives are suing the government for failing to identify Nidal Malik Hasan as a potential threat. In addition, they say that because the attack, which killed 13 people, has not been classified as a terrorist act, they have been denied compensation. The suit targets the Defense Department and the FBI.
