Definitely it was obvious Mogahed had an influence of Obama's headscarf jib in Europe ~ and one of the reasons he was so badly informed!!

For example, there were successful cases against the wearing of the headscarf in the US ~ one convert policewoman was denied her request to wear the Islamic headscarf along with her uniform.

But also with the French President, he clearly spoke without knowledge of the background of the headscarf in French schools. The ban on headscarf was a part of a wider ban on requests being made by Muslim parents on French secular state school system. They for example did not want their daughters to be taught by male teachers, they objected to their daughters being taught biology and the list undoubtedly goes on. Finally the French authorities said, enough is enough, we are a secular state. And we will accept no religious demands on our schools.

Victim though is much more appealing!

The President though might double check Dalia's outpouring of 'facts'!!
