I recently read a heart-pounding novel, The Woolsorter's Plague, by Chet Nagle, a former CIA agent, about terrorists delivered to our shores by an Iranian sub for a bio attack. They are likely to bring the terror war here. I will link to this from my Old Jarhead blog.
