Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims Speak Out on Capitol Hill

As compared to Western values and ethics, there is no such thing as a "moderate" Muslim. Western values are based on The Golden Rule ( a unitary view) and critical thought, neither of which exist within Islam. Islamic values are based on authoritative thought as directed by the Koran and Sunna (Sira and Hadith). Either you are a Muslim or you are not. Either you are an apostate or you are not. Islamic doctrine does not allow for any gray areas or shades of Islam; either you believe that Allah is the one true god and that Mohammed is his messenger, or you do not. If you do not, then you are an apostate, not a "moderate." Islam cannot be "reformed" because according to Islam it is already complete, universal, absolute, and final. This means that it cannot be changed. So when a so-called "reformer" tells you they want to "reform" Islam, this is something they already know they cannot do - in other words this is sacred deception of the non-believer (kafir) in order to advance the Islamic agenda. What is the Islamic agenda? Total world domination and subjugation of all kafirs by forcing everyone to live like a Muslim of Medina in the 7th Century. This Islamic agenda has been around for over 1400 years and currently has over 1.4 billion followers worldwide whose mission is to wage jihad against the kafir wherever they may find them.
