All countries are guilty to varying degrees at one time or another of the accusations you make of America. If a country did not import slavery then they enslaved their own populace. How did the Great Revolution work out for Mao or Stalin? Millions have died as a result of that ideology. Tens of millions more have died at the hands of their own corrupt and evil governments than have been killed by American military actions. All you have to do is look at Syria today. And yesterday Rawanda. Genocide is often self inflicted.

You neglect to mention that the American Founders, though they may have been guilty of participating in the slave trade, how did that work out? There are many Arab and African cultures that still engage in slavery today! The founder's were brilliant enough to produce a constitution that eventually corrected the problem and they were freed. And the slave trade didn't begin until well into the 17th century and ended in the 18th. Less than 150 years not 250. Yes the slave trade built a portion of America, but the majority was built and developed by the free inhabitants that explored and settled it. Sure, some abberant cults persists such as the Klan, but they are a miniscule fringe group that do not represent the majority and they have no power. And if you read some unbiased history you would realize that America has never started a war since its inception. Yes they did start the Revolution to free themselves from a Totalitarian Monarchy, but since then every act of war has been a response to an attack or to aid an ally that has come under attack, usually from a totalitarian regime with expansionist goals based upon an evil political ideology. The US expansion has grown out of an effort and desire for free trade and enterprise among all nations. Of course nothing works smoothly as long as political greed for power, weatlh and forced ideologies persists in this world with corrupt governments and corporations taking advantage of the poor. And unfortuantely all countries have to wrestle with varying degrees of this problem. So before you cast all of the blame for the worlds ills on America, you might take a closer look at an objective view of world history and the other civilizations that have shaped it as it evolves.

I am of mixed European descent, married to an African American woman, with beautiful, intelligent, mixed children, and I see the mixture of Oriental, European, and African peoples happening here in America as a blessing. I have made friends with many Oriental people over the years and I love thier culture, work ethic and dignity. The catchphrase being work ethic. I have worked time and half for 35 years now and I consider myself one of the majority of Americans that regard other cultures that share this ideal with equality and respect. I pray our Government can find the happy compromise's that will allow China and the US to become staunch allies.

I've been a student of Theology for 40 years now and it pains me to see so much anger and hostility from people toward the great melting pot of America that welcomes all peoples, when the answers they seek are so simple and close at hand. I would recommend you take a look at the Urantia BooK/ Urantia Foundation .com if you want to see the latest Spiritual Revelations bestowed upon our planet, and the goals and destiny that God has in store for us. I wish you all the best.
