Reader comment on item: Hampshire Divests from Israel, So Contributors Should Divest from Hampshire

Brilliant article by Dershowitz, and Hampshire has since released a second statement via an Open Letter to Alan Dershowitz.

I applaud Ralph Hexter for (finally) taking a stand against the SJP. That he chose to lash out at Dershowitz shows Hexter's tendency to play both sides, but nevertheless, he made definitive statements that Hampshire refused to divest. And they do have holdings in Motorala and Terex. So their actions are now steady behind their words.

I am very thankful that Dershowitz called attention to this issue so that it does not spread to other campuses, with them using Hampshire as a support for their argument - smearing the school in the process.

As a Hampshire Alumni, I now feel satisfied. It is time to end the divestment and give to Hampshire!
