Sounds like a collaboration to me

When a reporter gives substantial advice to an organization which is an arm of Hamas for the purpose for furthering its agenda, it's a collaboration. Even if the advice was for a program which has already been implemented. The reporter declared which side she is on and to what extent she is willing to help undermine U.S. security. It gives "co-conspirator" a broader definition.

I picture in my mind how the agenda of The Times is set at its managerial meetings, and who holds sway.
