there's an email circulating (don't know if it's true coz i haven't received it) outlining the proper approaches that media should take when reporting about terrorism i.e. 1. when reporting about terrorists, do not refer to them as "islamic" or "jihadists" 2. always interview "peaceful muslims" to counter the negative image presented by terrorists and 3. ask these "peaceful muslims" suggestions on how to report the story.. heard this on michael savage..
