If Muslim organizations in the USA condemn this doctrine of replacing the US constitution with sharia, that could be regarded as evidence that there really is a broad "moderate" Muslim base. Better, the imams in the country's mosques should renounce Hizb-ut-Tahrir as un-Islamic and an embarrassment to Islam, and encourage their congregations to speak out and overwhelm HT's opinions with their own - letters to the editor, candle-light vigils, debates.

We wait for this backlash. We wait. Come on, Moderates, this is your moment to exercise your constitutional right of free speech! Don't be afraid - HT beliefs represent just a tiny minority, and they're not true Muslims like you are - they hijacked your religion!

It is so quiet.
