@art: it's possible but highly unlikely that they consist of different people since islam requires prayer 5 times a day and to think that his devout congregation would fail to fulfill their holy requirements in just too horrible to imagine since they can be judged as apostates and not true believers. so methinks 500 was a lie, cool taqiyya style.
