No resolution of the problem of the ISA

It is now less that two months before the start of the school year. I cannot imagine that either the State Department or Fairfax County has the necessary courage to hold the ISA responsible for using textbooks which were supposed to have been revised some two years ago. Furthermore, I believe that the school will open, as usual, this fall -- never mind the several problems, past and present, with the ISA.

I note that the ISA's press release of June 13, 2008 is still on the school's web site. Opening paragraph:

WASHINGTON, DC (June 13, 2008) – The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) once again issued an erroneous report about the Islamic Saudi Academy. The report contains mistranslated and misinterpreted texts, and references to textbooks that are no longer in use at the Academy.

The report on the textbooks clearly shows otherwise!

I also note that the 2008-2009 calendar has not yet been posted. However, I do not know when the ISA typically posts the calendar.
