Moderate Muslims vs Radical Islamists

Countless millions have immigrated to America to escape oppression. Especially women., for America truly does grant women freedom. And to consent to jump into the melting pot (still can't use the term "salad bowl"), for all, takes a great deal of courage and WILLINGNESS to give up their native nationality. But not the incompatability of their religion?? German Lutherans gave up their Furher's venom because they had a vision for Peace. While the idea of a change in Islam is a nice idea, it has no relevance to a Christian-based Reformation. Borrowing Christian terms and ideals to obtain credibility has long been utilized by Muslim Islamists, most often the "equal" interchange between the word "Allah" and the One, True God as revealed in the Bible.

There seems to be a basic contradiction in the "moderate Muslim's" distinction with "radical islam" . Islam is both a way of life and devotion to a violent Muhammed's message in the Quran. How do the "moderates" separate themselves from this in practicing, say, a non-jihadic lifestyle in one of its multiple forms, with the devotion to odedience required in the Quran, including ALL abrogated verses?

Perhaps not so far from the truth is the saying, "To be a 'good' Muslim in America is to be a lousy one." Claiming you are purple does not allow you to deny your basic red in the mix. If you wish to escape Islamic oppression, then you will have to replace the Quran with something that grants freedom. I suggest the Author who underscores our Constitution, the Maker who Reformed our early father's thinking, the true peace activist who said, to His disciples shortly after His Resurrection, "Peace be with you" John20::26

The Reformation began, in a large part, by Luther recognizing Grace and not ascetsism as God's gift to man. and hence, man's peace with God. Islam's change will have to be so fundamental that it would no longer exist. Over the course of its nearly 1700 years it has only become more complicated and ingenious as to its globalization agenda. Living in peace is not congruent with Islam's movement. And marginalizing the Quran is deceptive.
