Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)

[CDCA] Adam Dandach (also known as "Fadi Fadi Dandach") of Orange, California, was charged in a superseding indictment with one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL); two counts of making a false statement on a passport application that was obtained in order to facilitate international terrorism; and one count of obstruction of justice for attempting to destroy records after his arrest. Dandach was arrested on July 3, 2014, and initially charged in a federal criminal complaint with making a false statement on his passport application. In August 2015, Dandach pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIL and making a false statement in a passport application.
